EPISODE DESCRIPTION
From the team behind Austin-based film production company Paper Street Pictures, The PAPER STREET Podcast is a new program that will cover genre films, filmmaking, and the film industry, with a focus on positivity and inclusivity in the genre community. Hosted by Shawn Talley and Becky Sayers, the show will also dive deep into all aspects of production. From the workshopping of ideas and script, to on-set production, to the post-production process, to distribution, they will get into the movie-making weeds, occasionally with their fellow filmmaker friends and industry professionals. Join them on this debut installment where they discuss, among other things, SXSW's cancellation, the coronavirus' ongoing effect on the film industry, Universal/Blumhouse hit THE INVISIBLE MAN, and the collaboration process for anthology films. Episode 1 is now available to stream or download via the embedded player above, as well as on Spotify, Sticher, and Google Play, with more platforms to follow (it should be up on Apple Podcasts anytime now).
