On this installment of The PAPER STREET Podcast, Becky and Shawn are joined by Meryem Ersoz, a producer, cinematographer, documentarian, among other titles, to talk about her unique filmmaking career, teaching early film history, carving out a niche in Colorado, and her pivot into owning Blackwing Digital Entertainment and operating Blackwing ASL, which provides specialty camera rigs and vehicles.
Meryem also shares tales of some of the more ambitious and complicated rigs they've built, how they recreated the famous San Francisco car chase sequence from the Steve McQueen film BULLITT, and some of the projects she currently has in the works. Plus: a fun round of 'Rapid Fire 15' with the guest, Becky's Deep Cut Slasher of the Week, westerns, disco, Denver green chili, and more!
