EPISODE DESCRIPTION
A presentation of The PAPER STREET Podcast, 'LATE TO THE PARTY' is a new recurring program that brings filmmakers, friends, and entertainment industry pros on to discuss a major movie blind spot of theirs. The guest chats with hosts Shawn Talley and Cameron Burns before watching the film, then reconvenes with them after having seen it to all share their thoughts on the movie and much more! This go-round, filmmaker Chris Ball was late to the party on THE PRINCESS BRIDE, but we're glad he made it! One of the most ubiquitous and beloved films of our lifetimes, the gang fawns over this '80s charmer, reciting many of its quotable lines, while touching on the stellar cast, screenwriter William Goldman's amazing filmography, and director Rob Reiner's equally-impressive early résumé as well. If you've seen the 1987 film THE PRINCESS BRIDE, check out this fun conversation. And if you haven't, you're late to the party, but that's okay; we'll still be here when you get to it!
