EPISODE DESCRIPTION
On this installment of The PAPER STREET Podcast, Shawn and Becky, back from remote holiday vacations, lament this neverending lockdown. The hosts ponder when productions will resume, and how it feels a little like Groundhog Day, with the country almost resetting to Day 1 of Phase 1. They're joined on this episode by Zena Dixon, a filmmaker, film critic, and the face and voice behind the YouTube channel "Real Queen of Horror." A lifelong horror fanatic who's gone from blogging to social media to vlogging, Zena discusses her career, influences, and some of the challenges she's faced along the way. Plus, a fun round of 'Rapid Fire 15' with the guest, surprisingly strong opinions on pancakes and the band Coldplay, the benefits of owning physical media, Becky's first encounter with a certain Ghost, her Deep Cut Slasher of the Week, and more!

I'm excited to hear Shawn and Becky back after their vacations, especially since lockdowns seem to be dragging on forever. Zena Dixon as a guest is a perfect fit, being a horror buff who's navigated the online content creator world. I'm curious about her journey from blogging to vlogging, the challenges she's faced, and of course, her favorite scary movies! The Rapid Fire 15 segment also sounds like a fun way to get to know Zena better. Plus, Becky's ghost encounter and the Deep Cut Slasher discussion have me intrigued! Can't wait to listen!
